Here the dome camera for the building

I was walking by this building and saw this big dome camera in the front door.  So why do people pay more for cameras because an installer said it will work well?
If you asked a security design company, we would place a small dome camera in front of the building for less money and it works for the building. If you look at these pics you will see.
